Deborah McCamie knows what it's like to
be overweight. She understands the frustration of losing weight and
gaining it back, and how it lowers self-esteem.
Now she knows what it's like to be thin. A former model, Ms. McCamie
overcomes weight problems using slimming secrets she's learned from
experts around the world, dropping from a size 16 to a size 6.
In 1981, determined to find a weight loss program that worked for her, Ms. McCamie found an exclusive salon in New York where she learned techniques that quickly took inches off her hips and thighs. The treatments were professional but she found them cold and clinical. Something was missing. And so, Ms. McCamie visited a Philadelphia cellulite centers where she received the emotional support she needed to stick with her program.
"I felt there were other women like me who thought there was no solution to their figure problems," she explains. "So I decided to combine the professionalism with warmth and caring and create a salon where women could lose weight and be pampered all at the same time." After training with world renowned weight loss specialists and attending New York's Nemectron Institute, Ms. McCamie was certified as a body treatment and skin care specialist. Then, in 1982, she was ready to open Deborah McCamie Beauté, the first European slimming and body treatment salon in the Delaware Valley.
Today the Beauté customizes more than 160 different scientifically proven reduction programs. But ask clients what the Beauté' magic is and they probably won't mention anything scientific. They'll tell you the secret is Deborah McCamie. She is a gifted body therapist whose occupation is her vocation.
"I've been to world class spas and nothing comes close to Deborah McCamie and her machines" says Debbie Montgomery of Maryland, "The Beauté is a dream come true." There's one word to describe Deborah McCamie - caring. "Her one concern was my weight loss. I felt I was her only client and we were losing the weight together." According to Karen Cook, who went from a size 20 to a 12, Ms. McCamie's enthusiasm is contagious. "Her energy just bubbles over and fills you up, motivating you to reach your goals."
A leader in the body slimming and body firming business, Ms. McCamie searches constantly for new methods to accelerate women's figure problems. She travels regularly for training in New York, Beverly Hills, Palm Beach, Canada and, of course, Europe. "Making a difference in the life of every woman whom walks in our door, no matter how big or small, is my mission," she says. "I'm dedicated to helping women look and feel better about themselves."
